BT Sport presenter delivers brutal put down of one Chelsea player despite Europa League triumph

Chelsea lifted the Europa League title on Wednesday night.

An impressive second half display saw the Blues dispatch with an insipid Arsenal side 4-1.

Olivier Giroud headed home an Emerson cross shortly after half-time, before Pedro swung in a second from an Eden Hazard cutback.

Hazard then fired home a penalty after Giroud was bundled over by Ainsley Maitland-Niles, before Alex Iwobi pulled one back.

Hazard and Giroud then played some neat football with Hazard half-volleying in the fourth to secure the win and lift a nice piece of silverware in Maurizio Sarri's first season in charge.

The Blues went on to lift the trophy in a half-empty Olympic Stadium in Baku to somewhat muted celebrations as a result.

Everyone got their chance to proudly lift the trophy aloft, including squad players, those not involved and backroom staff.

And one of those to lift the trophy, soon after Cesar Azpilicueta and Gary Cahill did so, brought out a brutal put down from BT Sport presenter Jake Humphrey.

Thirty-nine-year-old Rob Green was signed in the summer as a back-up third choice goalkeeper.

He has not played a single minute of football for Chelsea this season, but there he was lifting the Europa League trophy aloft.

Humphrey really came into his own at that moment, as he said: "Congratulations Rob Green, couldn't have done it without you."

I'm sure the goalkeeper is not too worried by the comment, but it was brutal nonetheless.
