BT Sport could be heading for a legal battle in a pay row involving their star pundits.
Mirror Sport revealed last month big names like Rio Ferdinand, Jermaine Jenas and Robbie Savage could all miss out on appearance money during the coronavirus crisis.
It is understood BT Sport have now made a counter offer to try and solve matters but there is no agreement in sight and lawyers are now working in the background.
BT Sport have now updated their offer to subscribers for two months' credit or turn it into a donation to the NHS and are looking to cut costs through the coronavirus crisis.

Football on television has been on hold for nearly a month with BT unable to show any more live games but it means that other pundits - including Martin Keown, Joe Cole, Glenn Hoddle and Karen Carney - have been left without shows.
They have been willing to do shows but now those on pro rata contracts have been told they will not be paid for any outstanding appearances even though they always have been in the past.
The stars make the point they were able to do their allotted number before the crisis and the dispute is now threatening to get ugly.

BT Sport have put on extra programming on Saturday, during the week and still hope that if games return then everyone will be able to fulfill their allotted number of appearances.
As revealed by Mirror Sport last month, BT Sport warned their stars across the board that, because they have not got live sport, they face not being paid for outstanding appearances.
Normally, the pundits would be paid up at the end of the season even if they could not complete their allotted number of shows - just as long as they were available to go on air for games from the Premier League, European games, WSL and non-league.
