BT Sport bombarded with requests from Liverpool fans to join Jordan Henderson Zoom call

A host of fans tried to gate crash Jordan Henderson's victory speech after BT Sport accidentally opened the door for people to join the call.

The Reds captain was speaking after the Reds had been crowned Premier League champions.

But the Zoom call was inundated with requests to join after details were accessible by the public.

No one was successful as the midfielder spoke glowingly about his side's efforts this term.

"Amazing. I didn’t want to talk about it till this moment. Its amazing to finally get over the line," he told BT Sport.

"So happy for all the boys, the fans, the club the city. I'm a little bit overwhelmed right now, amazing feeling. So proud of what we’ve achieved."

Manchester City's loss at Chelsea ended Liverpool's wait for their title, although they had been champions in waiting for months.

The domestic success backs up their European triumph of 12 months ago and Henderson discussed the differences between winning it on the pitch, and watching on TV.

"When we won the champions league it was a different experience being on the pitch," he added.

"Then watching the game tonight and the final whistle going being with everyone, all the staff, another moment in our lives we’ll never forget. I can’t really describe it.

"I said after the CL final it wouldn’t be possible to do that without the manager [Klopp] and it's the same with this title.

"It's no disrespect to the managers we’ve had before but since day one he came in the door and he changed everything and we’ve done every thing he said, followed him, and believed in him."
