BT is giving away free XBox One bundles to sport fans

Television and broadband providers love to offer freebies in order to get people to switch.

BT is giving away free Xbox bundles worth £449 with its broadband and sport packages.

The TV provider is giving away an XBox One X 1TB console with two games, Forza Horizon 4 and Lego Speed Champions, for anybody that signs up to superfast broadband and BT's sport offering.

BT says it will only give away the free bundle until 20 February.

The cheapest BT deal offering fibre broadband and access to the BT Sport app is £45.99 per month on a two-year contract with an upfront cost of £9.99 but other more expensive options are included in the deal.

Sports fans who take the deal will be able to watch the later stages of the Champions League and Europa League, as BT has the rights to the two major European football competitions along with a selection of Premier League fixtures.

The three deals that will bag you a free XBox are:

The bundle includes BT Sport app and BT broadband on a 24 month contract. However, it does not allow you to watch BT Sport on your Sky TV.

Get BT Superfast Fibre and watch BT Sport on your Sky TV.

Includes all premium channels, including HD, and a 4K enabled TV box.
