BT has announced today that it is bringing broadband to another 100 exchanges in British towns and cities. It also plans to launch a cut-down broadband offering this summer, which will provide internet access but no content for - we presume - a lower monthly cost. The monopoly telco says it is has been connecting 10,000 people a week to ADSL since it cut the cost of high-speed net connections earlier this year, and is aiming for five million broadband connections by 2006.
