TARN TARAN: Border Security Force (BSF) recovered around 4.5kg of heroin from two different places near the Indo-Pak international border in the Tarn Taran district.
According to BSF reports, in one of the incidents, BSF troops recovered five bottles filled with heroin weighing 2.5 kg from the area of village Wan, in Tarn Taran district while in another incident BSF troops recovered four packets of heroin weighing 2.110 kg in the area of village Naushera Dhalla in Tarn Taran district.
In both cases, BSF opened fire toward cross-border narcotics smugglers but they managed to flee taking advantage of a dense layer of fog.
