BSF personnel spot Pak drone in Amritsar sector of Punjab

AMRITSAR: A Pakistani drone was spotted twice in Punjab's Amritsar sector on late Sunday night.

Border Security Force's (BSF) public relations officer, Punjab Frontier, Kuldip Singh informed on Monday that the jawans spotted drones flying in the area of Ajnala police station on Sunday night.

The first drone was spotted at around 11pm while the movement of the second drone was sighted at around 11.50pm flying near BSF’s Border out Post Old Sundargarh in Amritsar sector, he added.

On both occasions, the BSF jawans fired at the directions of the drone following which it fled back.

He informed that following the sighting of the drone BSF along with local police carried out the search of the area but nothing objectionable was found.

Sources informed that it was not sure whether there were two different drones or the same drone was spotted twice in the area.
