Bryson DeChambeau thankful to be a part of Alex Trebek’s final week of Jeopardy!

The final episode of Jeopardy! with Alex Trebek as host broadcasts Friday. The show producers say it will feature a look back at some memorable Trebek moments.

The venerable game-show host passed away on Nov. 8, 2020 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He taped the final five episodes just 10 days before his death.

Professional athletes have frequently been a part of the show. In a September episode, Phil Mickelson was featured as the final answer but no one guessed that one correctly.

On Friday morning, Bryson DeChambeau tipped his cap on Twitter to Trebek and the show after seeing his name appear on the screen.

The answer was: “The unconventional methods of this long-hitting 2020 U.S. Open Champ include using a protractor on the putting green.”

Like Mickelson, none of the three contestants correctly guessed DeChambeau.

Which was all good with the long bomber, watching from Hawaii, where he’s competing in the Sentry Tournament of Champions.
