Bryson DeChambeau breaks silence after being trolled by Shane Lowry

Bryson DeChambeau has broken his silence after being trolled by Shane Lowry on social media.

Lowry took to Twitter to poke fun at DeChambeau after the American posted a video of himself ducking under a rope.

Lowry has been vocal that there has been no love lost with him and a number of players that have gone to the LIV Golf Tour.

And 2019 Open champion took aim at DeChambeau's video, as he compared it to the bad weather in Scotland.

Taking to social media, Lowry said: : "Not sure what’s worse, this or tomorrow’s @dunhilllinks weather forecast…"

And Lowry's reaction to the cringe video went viral with 2022 PGA Championship winner Justin Thomas siding with the Offaly man.

He said: "I vote the first!"

DeChambeau was left unimpressed and shaken when a course marking rope caught him in eye during LIV Golf's latest event in Chicago.

The six foot American golfer is known for his raw power and being able to hit the ball further than most in the professional game. However, after hitting his approach shot on the 14th hole DeChambeau failed to duck a course rope resulting in it hitting his eye.

The LIV Golf rebel immediately went down to his knees stating: "Oh my god. I can't see. Right in my eye. I can’t even see right now. The thing split my eye.”

And DeChambeau took to social media for the first time since Lowry ridiculed the video.

The American is currently at the World Long Drive Championship and posted an update on his social media.

He said: "Got to move it faster. On to the final 32 tomorrow."
