Bryony Frost was assessed in hospital after her fall in the 2021 Randox Grand National, her family have said.
The 25-year-old jockey was unseated from Yala Enki at the 20th fence of the race, which was won by 11-1 shot Minella Times.
As Rachael Blackmore crossed the line in front, the first female jockey to do so in the history of the event, medics were giving assistance to Frost.
The first female rider to win a Grade 1 at the Cheltenham Festival appeared to be trampled upon by a rival horse, which was following Yala Enki.
Trainer Paul Nicholls said Frost was suffering from concussion.
On Saturday evening, her family posted on the Frost Racing Club Facebook page: "Hi, just to let everyone know, B (Bryony), is OK, in hospital under obs tonight. She has been fully checked out, a few days off. Thank you for all the messages."
Harry Cobden, who like Frost rides for Nicholls' Ditcheat stable, was also in hospital for some time.
He missed the ride on Give Me A Copper in the National after he suffered facial fractures when Lucky One came down in an earlier race.
