Bryce Young practices in full for 2nd straight day

Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young has taken another big step towards Sunday.

The rookie passer was listed as a full participant for the second straight practice on Thursday afternoon. Young, who missed Week 3’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks due to an ankle injury, said he felt great prior to taking the field today.

He also said that despite the narratives about his size and durability, he’s only focused on what his coaches, teammates and training staff have to offer.

“Good or bad, what people are gonna say, it’s outta my control,” Young stated. “People are gonna have opinions good and bad, and I think that’s the beauty of sports. It’s great, we get to have conversations and people that are passionate and care get to express that.

“But, for me, I can’t control that. It’s not something I think about. Ultimately, I care about the opinions of people in this building. I care about my teammates and coaches, and I trust everyone here.”

Young was joined by linebacker Frankie Luvu, who returned in a limited capacity after sitting out yesterday’s session. Luvu made an early exit from the loss on Sunday after sustaining a hip pointer.

As for who didn’t participate—safety Xavier Woods (hamstring) was held out again while wide receiver Adam Thielen took a rest.
