Phillies star Bryce Harper has his pick for the next UNLV men’s basketball head coach

Of all the crazy storylines that have surfaced throughout the UNLV men’s basketball offseason, I wasn’t anticipating Philadelphia Phillies superstar Bryce Harper to voice his opinion on the Runnin’ Rebels head coaching search.

Alas, here we are.

Harper, a Vegas native, says it’s a “no-brainer” that Mike Miller should be the next UNLV men’s basketball head coach. Miller is currently on the Memphis basketball staff under Penny Hardaway, his first season as a coach after a 17-year NBA career.

Harper’s not in the minority here, either. Miller is reportedly among the short list of candidates that have been rumored to take the job.
