Bryce Harper did a Bryce Harper thing Thursday night as he absolutely crushed a walk-off grand slam against the Cubs, giving the Phillies their third straight win since making some changes on their coaching staff.
This was the type of thing fans expected when the team signed Harper to a zillion-dollar deal in the offseason. The right fielder took a 2-2 pitch with one out and gave the team a 7-5 win by hitting the ball to the moon.
But what made this walk-off granny even more fun was how quickly Harper got around the bases to celebrate with his teammates – he absolutely sprinted around the bags before going nuts at home plate with the rest of his squad:
