Bryan Gunn names favourite Hibs moment as he laments his bad luck at Easter Road

Former Hibs goalkeeper Bryan Gunn admits he loved his time at the club before his career was cruelly ended with a broken leg.

The Norwich legend joined the Easter Road club on loan initially, before signing a permanent deal after issues with his registration.

He played just 12 games and suffered relegation to the First Division before a broken leg ended his career when he was advised by doctors to retire.

It was a huge blow for Gunn to have to quit the game at 36, having made himself a legend at Norwich after moving from first club Aberdeen.

But he took to Twitter to discuss his time in Edinburgh and named a win over Hearts and a clean sheet against Celtic as the best times of his short career.

He said: "Just found this post about my debut for @HibernianFC, only 12 games but enjoyed every minute until another broken leg ended my career.

"Beating the Jambos and a clean sheet (& the Haka) at Parkhead the highlights for me."
