Bryan Cranston is set to reprise his stage role as President Lyndon B Johnson in the Tony-winning play All the Way. The biopic will follow Johnson during his first year in office after the assassination of John F Kennedy, and also his campaign for re-election and the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Cranston is also set to star in a biopic of Spartacus screenwriter Douglas Trumbo, who was blacklisted during the McCarthy era in Hollywood, in a film directed by Jay Roach, with Helen Mirren and John Goodman.
