Bryan Cranston praises Donald Trump's campaign and 'don't give a s**t attitude'

The word 'refreshing' might not be the one many people typically associate with Donald Trump's Republican campaign.

Famous figures have not exactly rushed to endorse Trump’s presidential run, which has largely consisted of offending or insulting ethnic minorities, women, veteran politicians, actresses, journalists and activists. But the outspoken business tycoon has soldiered on regardless, insisting that his bid for president is what the world wants and branding anyone who disagrees with him a “loser”.

He is still fending off updates from women live-tweeting their periods at him after one particular comment that was perceived by many to be him trying to insult Fox journalist Megyn Kelly by suggesting she was menstruating.

But Breaking Bad actor Bryan Cranston is one of the few actors to come out and say he feels encouraged by Trump’s abrasive presence, telling Nerdist: ”I actually like his candour. ’You’re an idiot. I'm a winner, you're a loser.’

"There's something so refreshing about shaking up that world that is all about being handled and here comes this loose cannon who has terrible ideas and would be a horrible president, but there's something great about his 'I don't give a s**t' attitude that really kind of keeps others honest," Cranston said.

“I think it’s a surprise benefit to the country, actually. I hope he stays in for a long, long time and just collapses that whole tent of his.”

Trump’s unforgettable offensive has also endeared him to Republican voters, with opinion polls repeatedly showing his clear lead over his fellow GOP candidates.
