Two thugs left a man with a broken jaw after a vicious attack.
The 46-year-old was battered in Paisley’s Waverley Road around 1.45pm on Thursday.
He was kicked and punched by two yobs, who pounced as he walked down the Foxbar street.
The victim suffered a broken jaw in the onslaught and was treated at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for his injuries.
It’s understood detectives are following a positive line of enquiry.
A police spokesman said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident and may have witnessed what happened to come forward.”
