'Brutal' - what Chelsea fans said after beating Nottingham Forest in FA Cup

Nottingham Forest bowed out of the FA Cup at the third round stage as they were beaten by Chelsea.

The with Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ross Barkley getting the goals.

VAR played its part, Forest firstly awarded a penalty to have it overturned, before a Ryan Yates header was also ruled offside.

Here’s what the Chelsea fans made of the game...

@Elms_1905: Well a strange game, never seemingly in trouble but never fully in control. VAR had an eventful afternoon and a process that although beneficial today could imo ultimately kill the game. What wasn’t in doubt was that this kit should be our first choice immediately.

@CFCbabble: Glad to see CHO have a strong performance. That should hopefully be a confidence boost for the next few matches. We have been seriously lacking attacking players in form.

@RLCZN: Good performance, could have been 6 if Michy decided to show up. Callum and Reece, simply phenomenal. Ross needs to leave asap. Love Pedro but he just isn't at it anymore.

@MrBegc: Well done to @ChelseaFC never disappointed and a confident & dominant win for a change!

@bigrobdd: Thought the youth players did great today. If you told me at the beginning of the season Chelsea would be 4th in the league, still in CL, and the transfer ban would be shortened, I would have been ecstatic. Perspective everyone.

@cfcccp: Comfortable victory. Well done boys. Who's next?

@NjengaRobert3: Am I the only one who thinks that despite a merited win, the game was boring. They should not be satisfied with two early goals. Teams like man City would have been brutal and hungrily wrap up with 5 or more goals. Chelsea have a habit of relaxing after a couple of goals ahead.

@CFC_LOG: Another lacklustre display. They were there to beaten 5 or 6-0 but this team has got no ruthlessness. Fans pay to see the team try and score goals. Second half we didn’t even look like we were trying to. No wonder we’re struggling.
