A man has been hospitalised after a brutal Glasgow horror knife attack on New Years day.
The 34-year-old was discovered by police just before the midnight seriously injured in the Gorbals area on Friday 1 January 2021.
He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary after the 'frightening incident' for treatment and was later discharged.
It’s not known how many people were involved in the incident.
Police in Glasgow are now appealing for information after a man was assaulted in the south side of the city.
The attack happened near Caledonia Road or Oregon Street.
Detective Constable James Johnston from Police Scotland said: “This was a frightening incident for the man involved and has left him with serious injuries.
“We were looking to speak to anyone who was near Caledonia Road or Oregon Street around the time of the incident or those with dash cam footage from the area at that time, to come forward.”
