Brutal attack sees boy stabbed in broad daylight at busy park in shock clip

A harrowing video shows the moment a 17-year-old boy is stabbed in broad daylight in front of horrified onlookers in London's Hyde Park.

The clip, which has been widely shared on social media, shows the victim being chased by a group of men, with two members of the group carrying long weapons which appear to be swords that are about a foot long.

He falls to the ground and is punched and kicked on the floor as part of the attack, which was captured via phone footage, reports The Mirror.

People are seen fleeing the scene as the stabbing unfolds.

Following the horrific violent attack, the perpetrators flee, leaving the young victim lying on the ground seriously injured.

Police are investigating, and say the man's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

No arrests have been made in connection with the attack, which happened at around 9pm.

The Central London park was busy at the time, with large crowds enjoying a warm summer evening as temperatures finally began to soar.

In the aftermath of the distressing assault, a panicked witness can be heard shouting: "Quick. First aid, anything. Quick."

Worried onlookers quickly gathered around the injured man after his attackers ran away, and emergency services were called.

Police and paramedics descended on the scene and a cordon was put in place around the spot where the attack happened.

In a statement the Met said the victim had been taken to hospital.

It said: "Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended.

"They found a male, believed to be aged 17 years old, suffering from stab injuries.

"He has been taken to hospital for treatment; his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

"At this early stage, there have been no arrests and enquiries continue."

Witnesses have been urged to contact the Met Police.
