Bruno Tonioli to miss Strictly Come Dancing next week - but who is replacing him?

Strictly Come Dancing is well and truly underway as we enter week four of the the glitzy entertainment show.

But fans of the BBC favourite will notice quite a big change in the judging line-up next week, October 19.

Bruno Tonioli won't join his fellow critics Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel-Horwood and Motsi Mabuse for all the dancing action next weekend as he has prior work commitments in the Sates on Dancing With The Stars.

The 63-year-old is also a judge on the American version of the programme alongside former UK star Len Goodman and spends his weeks across the pond before returning in time for Strictly on Saturday.

This will be the third time the Italian TV star has had to step out of his role.

He will again be replaced by Alfonso Ribeiro - star of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

The actor, who played the hip-shaking Carlton Banks in the hit American sitcom, has been invited back to the Strictly judging panel  after a successful stint in 2018.

Alfonso joined the panel last year (BBC)

But which celebrities he will be left to judge will all depend on this weekends results.

Strictly Come Dancing is on BBC One, Saturday at 6:40pm
