Bruno Guimaraes registers late assist as Brazil comfortably sweep aside South Korea

Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes grabbed a late assist as his Brazil side comfortably swept aside South Korea by 5-1 in Souel. Neymar (2), Gabriel Jesus, Richarlison and Coutinho all found the net as Seleção stepped up their preperations for the upcoming World Cup.

Starting the game via the substitutes bench, Bruno was introduced with less than ten minutes remaining but as ever, stamped his authority on the game, wonderfully picking out Manchester City man Jesus in stoppage time.

PSG forward Neymar converted in each half via the penalty spot, with Bordeaux striker Hwang Ui-jo netting Korea's only goal, an equaliser midway through the first half of proceedings.

Tite's side will now face fellow Asian outfit Japan on Monday afternoon in Tokyo before jetting off to Melbourne to face Argentina in their final friendly bout this month. Guimaraes was of course called up by his native side following their impressive unbeaten run throughout World Cup qualifying.

Additionally, ex-team-mate and current Newcastle target Lucas Paqueta was the player replaced by Bruno late on during the clash, with the Lyon star presenting with his own opportunity to score in the second half, despite being denied by South Korea 'keeper Kim Seung-gyu.

With some 60,000+ in attendance to watch the five time World Cup winners, fellow Premier League starts Raphinha and Thiago Silva were also on show, as Brazil turned on the heat during the second half to complete a comfortable display all around.
