Bruno Guimaraes delivers big update on his future amid Arsenal transfer links

Arsenal target Bruno Guimaraes has broken his silence on a potential transfer as the race for the services of the midfielder heats up in the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old Athletico Paranese midfielder has emerged as a target for Mikel Arteta as he looks to bolster his ranks at the Emirates Stadium, with it reported that Edu held talks with the player's representatives in London last week.

However, they are not the only club interested in a move for the midfielder, as Lyon and Benfica are both attributed with an interest in the highly-rated talent.

Now, Guimaraes has broken his silence on a potential transfer and has stated that a decision on his next club is a difficult choice to make.

"What I asked my agents was that the transfer is good for me and for Athletico Paranaense. I know that clubs are in talks, it’s difficult to choose. They are all great teams," he told SporTV via Metro.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed his club's interest in signing the midfielder, but he is not the only player the French side are chasing.

He said: "We are also in talks for one midfielder in England. We have to negotiate both at the same time, but we will only take one. They are both excellent."
