Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has hailed the impact Bruno Fernandes has had at his old club.
The Portuguese joined the Reds from Sporting Lisbon in January, and since then he has scored three goals and claimed three assists in eight appearances.
United are unbeaten in their last ten games, and are just three points behind fourth-placed Chelsea in the Premier League table after overcoming arch-rivals Manchester City on Sunday.
Fernandes set-up Anthony Martial’s opener at Old Trafford at the weekend and the former Reds midfielder believes the 25-year-old is showing he is the 'real deal'.
“He’s been magnificent,” Hargreaves told BT Sport before United’s game with Austrian side LASK in the Europa League.
“He has made everyone better. He loves shots from outside the box, he is one of the best at it. His goals and assists are right there.
“Everyone is playing better. He has given everyone a lift and he is the real deal.”
