Bruno Fernandes is set to achieve a lifelong dream after Manchester United announced the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo is just a few formalities away from returning to Old Trafford in a move which has delighted fans across the world.
One man who is as delighted as anyone is Ronaldo's Portugal team-mate Fernandes, who shared a clearly heartfelt post on Instagram on Friday after the official announcement had been made.
Alongside a drawing presumably showing him watching Ronaldo on TV as a youngster, he wrote: "Never stop dreaming.
"Welcome back home @cristiano."
After joining the club from Sporting Lisbon, Fernandes revealed that he became a United fan after watching Ronaldo rise to the top at the club - and now he will get to play alongside him.

"My love of Manchester United really started when I used to watch Cristiano Ronaldo play and ever since then I have been a big fan of this great club," said Fernandes.
"For me to now play for Manchester United feels incredible, I have worked hard to get to this moment and I can promise the fans that I will give everything for the badge to help bring us more success and trophies.
"I want to thank Sporting for everything they have done for me. It is surreal to hear the nice words that have been said about me from players that used to play for this team.
"A massive thank you to Ole and everyone at Manchester United for the trust they have shown in me and I can't wait to start to repay that on the pitch."
Fernandes also revealed that he personally spoke to his international team-mate Ronaldo after putting pen to paper with the Red Devils in January.

"I spoke with him after, not before. I said before - Manchester, for me, was the dream team. I always wanted to play for this team and it doesn't matter who can talk about it – bad or good, I will come," Fernandes added.
"It was my dream to play in the Premier League. I have the choice to come to Manchester United and it was two dreams in one. It was perfect.
"Of course, I spoke with Cristiano after and he spoke very well about the club. I spoke with him some days ago, again.
"Every time I speak with him, he asks me how Manchester is and if everything is okay.
"Everyone knows he spent a lot of time in Manchester and he has consideration for the club. He likes the club, I think he won his first Ballon d'Or here, so it's a club who've marked him, for sure."
