Bruno Fernandes 'seduced' by Man Utd after transfer target is offered lucrative wage packet

Manchester United transfer target Bruno Fernandes has been 'seduced' by the Red Devils, according to reports from Portugal.

The Sporting Lisbon midfielder has emerged as one of the Red Devils' top targets this summer, amid conflicting reports regarding how far down the line transfer negotiations are.

Fernandes' agent Miguel Pinho is allegedly in the process of thrashing out personal terms with the Red Devils to secure the best possible deal for his client.

But Manchester United are yet to make an official bid for the player, with the two clubs someway off agreeing on a figure; the Red Devils want to pay £32million, while Sporting want closer to £56million.

Portuguese newspaper Jornal de Noticias, per SportWitness, claims that Pinho is flying into England this Thursday as opposed to Wednesday as previously reported.

The paper adds that Fernandes has been 'seduced' by United after they offered him between £4.5million and £5.3million-a-season in wages.

It seems that the attacking midfielder has started to put press on Sporting to force through a move to the Premier League.

But, as aforesaid, the Portuguese club are sticking to their guns where negotiations are concerned and have every intention of holding out for a figure double what the Red Devils want to pay.
