Bruno Fernandes responds to message from official Club Brugge Instagram account

Bruno Fernandes has sent Club Brugge a fiery message ahead of Manchester United's Europa League last-32 fixture.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side travelled to Belgium on Wednesday as they prepared to win the tournament they conquered in 2017.

Along with the FA Cup, the Europa League represents a good chance for United to win silverware this season. It also offers United a route into the Champions League should they fail to finish in the top four.

The Europa League's official Instagram account previewed the game by posting: "Waiting for the #UEL to return like...

"Will @brunofernandes.10 score tonight? [Thinking emoji]."

The caption was accompanied by a picture of Fernandes looking thoughtful.

Club Brugge's official Instagram account cheekily replied to the post with "No, sorry."

But Bruno Fernandes had the final say by replying with: "I see you later [grimace and eyes emoji]."

The Portuguese playmaker arrived at Manchester United for £49million in January. Despite only playing twice the 25-year-old has shown glimpses of what he is capable of.

He registered his first assist for the club, too. Fernandes's in-swinging corner was headed home by Harry Maguire against Chelsea to seal United's win at Stamford Bridge on Monday.
