Bruno Fernandes has responded to his agent appearing to drop a Manchester United transfer hint, as talks between player and club continue.
Fernandes' agent Rui Guimaraes set tongues wagging when he 'liked' a post on the OfficialWhoScored Instagram page.
The post features a picture of Fernandes playing for Sporting Lisbon.
Alongside it, the text contains an impressive stat: "Bruno Fernandes has played a direct hand in 48 goals in 48 appearances since the beginning of last season."
The image's caption is what caught the eye of the Red Devils supporters though, as it references the 25-year-old's "impending" move to Manchester United.
Fernandes noticed his agent had 'liked' the post and responded by sharing it to his own Instagram story.
Portugal international Fernandes is keen on a move to Manchester United, but the two clubs are yet to agree on a fee.

United do not want to pay this much, but are willing to sell one of their players to Sporting to sweeten the deal, with Marcos Rojo in the mix.

Andreas Pereira is another man who could be swapped for Fernandes, with Sporting reportedly more open to this suggestion.
As things stand, Fernandes is set to play for Sporting in their derby with Benfica this Friday.
