Bruno Fernandes' agent has shared a picture of the upcoming Manchester United signing en route to the United Kingdom via a private jet.
That's after the move was confirmed by United, taking Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon to Old Trafford in a January transfer worth €55million up front and €10m in add-ons.
A United statement confirmed a deal had been agreed for Fernandes, pending personal terms being signed off and the completion of the mandatory medical at Carrington.
And the player's agent, Miguel Ruben Pinho, took to Instagram to share a picture of him and Fernandes on board a chartered aircraft bound from Portugal to Manchester.
He captioned the post with "A caminho de Manchester!" — which translates to "on the way to Manchester."
Fernandes has not yet been unveiled by United and therefore fans await his first interview, first pictures of the 25-year-old wearing the famous red shirt and what squad number he will take.
But the pictures will merely fuel more excitement for supporters, who are eager to see how Fernandes fares in the Premier League and it wont be long before he's at the club's training ground.
The Portugal international was prolific in his time at Sporting, scoring 39 league goals in 82 appearances from United — and a further 12 goals in 25 appearances in European and domestic cup competitions.
His departure has been met with an emotional reaction from Sporting on social media. "some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them. Good luck and thank you, captain."
