Bruno Fernandes openly mocked on Twitter by Man Utd team-mate Diogo Dalot

Diogo Dalot seized his opportunity to mock his good friend and Manchester United team-mate Bruno Fernandes on Twitter this week.

Red Devils January signing Fernandes recently uploaded an imagine of himself to Instagram sporting a new beard, which he has grown during the coronavirus lockdown.

The picture was widely shared all over social media, with Red Devils Twitter fan account 'Utd Report' sharing the image on their own feed.

The picture was accompanied with the caption: "Bruno Fernandes shows off his new beard," and generated nearly 9,000 likes (correct at time of reporting).

It also generated a number of comments, including one from Man United right-back Dalot.

"Please don't Bruno Fernandes," wrote the Portuguese, alongside four laughing face emojis. "I think we found the new Narcos actor."

The 21-year-old was referencing the Netflix drama that documents the cocaine trade in Colombia in the last 1980s and features a number of characters with moustaches.

As aforementioned, Dalot and Fernandes enjoy a good relationship at United, with the Portuguese right-back helping his compatriot settle in in the UK.

Dalot has even been giving Fernandes a lift to Manchester United's Carrington training base, and has been snapped doing so.

Both players are currently in self-isolation due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

Man United officially shut down their training base last month after the Premier League suspended all fixtures until at least April 30, with players given personalised programmes to complete by themselves at home.
