Bruno Fernandes' agent has apparently revealed the midfielder's Manchester United shirt number in a post on Instagram.
Miguel Ruben Pinho posted an image of himself posing alongside Fernandes holding a United jersey with the number 18 on the back.
It appears that this is the number the Portuguese will wear for the Red Devils, following in the footsteps of Paul Scholes, and most recently, Ashley Young.
Manchester United shelled out £46.6million plus up to £21.2million in add-ons for Fernandes after pursuing him all January.
The Portuguese could make his debut as soon as this weekend when the Red Devils take on Wolves at Old Trafford.
Upon signing, Fernandes said: "My love of Manchester United really started when I used to watch Cristiano Ronaldo play and ever since then I have been a big fan of this great club.
"For me to now play for Manchester United feels incredible, I have worked hard to get to this moment and I can promise the fans that I will give everything for the badge to help bring us more success and trophies.

"It is surreal to hear the nice words that have been said about me from players that used to play for this team.
