Bruno Fernandes' comments on Manchester United after Aston Villa draw will please Ralf Rangnick

Bruno Fernandes admitted he wasn't happy after Manchester United's draw against Aston Villa on Saturday evening.

Fernandes scored two goals in the Premier League clash at Villa Park, but his brace wouldn't be enough for the three points.

Jacob Ramsey's goal with 15 minutes to play got Villa back into the game before Phillipe Coutinho found an equaliser shortly after.

The points were shared and United are now five points behind fourth-placed West Ham, albeit they have a game in hand. Fernandes was asked about his individual performance after the draw and he said he was unhappy, regardless of scoring two goals.

Ralf Rangnick has recently said United need to 'work and develop as a team' and Fernandes' comments will please him.

"I'm not happy at all, obviously," Fernandes told Sky Sports.

"Everyone is happy to score goals, I'm one of them too, I'm happy to score, but I prefer to win the game.

"I prefer to take away my two goals and have someone else scoring and winning the game than have me scoring."

United play Brenford in the Premier League next on Wednesday.
