Bruno Fernandes' angry complaint about N'Golo Kante overheard

Bruno Fernandes let his frustrations get the better of him when he was overheard shouting to the referee "It's always him!" in Manchester United's goalless draw with Chelsea.

The Red Devils midfielder had just been dispossessed by N'Golo Kante and believed the midfielder had gone in on him unfairly.

Referee Stuart Attwell saw nothing wrong with the challenge and waved away the protest.

But the incident rather summer up Fernandes' day, with the frustrated Portuguese unable to get the better of the World Cup winner at Stamford Bridge.

Kante on the other hand had a game to remember in the middle of the park, making seven clean tackles and four interceptions - without committing a single foul.

He kept Fernandes quiet all game, with Paul Scholes even hitting out at the Portuguese midfielder's lack of involvement as a result at the final whistle.

"They've got to change it, the quality has got to be better," Scholes told Premier League Productions. "The big players have got to step up. Again Fernandes today, I can't remember him doing anything.

"I don't remember him creating a chance, I don't remember him having a shot on goal.

"I don't remember [Edouard] Mendy, other than a couple of times, being brought into the game. So the quality is disappointing, they've got to get it better against these big clubs."
