Bruno Davidson seals Celtic transfer as in-demand winger pens three-year deal

Celtic have beaten off competition from Leicester City and West Ham to land talented teenager Bruno Davidson.

The 15-year-old has tonight signed a three-year deal with the Hoops.

The winger arrives from Hutchinson Vale, who have helped produce Celtic stars like Leigh Griffiths and legend John Collins.

Davidson also has offers from the English Premiership pair but believes he is best suited to remain in Scotland.

And the youngster had also been previously on trial at Liverpool and Southampton.

Leicester were keen on Davidson (PA)

Club scouts crowded in to watch the the highly-rated attacker in action as they tried to lure him down to England.

But Mail Sport revealed on Sunday it was Celtic who had stolen a march on clubs south of the border by tempting him to Glasgow.

And the Hoops have been able to get the deal across the finish line as the teenager commits his future at Parkhead until 2023.

The reigning Premiership champions will add Davidson to their development squad at Lennoxtown with hopes high he can develop into a fully-fledged first team star.
