Bruce Willis' cosy Christmas with wife Emma after he spent lockdown with ex Demi Moore

Bruce Willis is set to share a cosy Christmas with his wife Emma and their two young daughters after spending most of lockdown with his ex Demi Moore.

The Die Hard star, 65, got stranded in Idaho with his former partner and their grown-up daughters while Emma was left to look after their young girls on her own in California.

They were able to reunite after restrictions on travel lifted and the couple are now looking forward to a family Christmas together.

Emma shared a picture of herself decorating their huge Christmas tree, and an after shot showing the huge stack of presents they'd piled underneath.

She also sewed a huge tartan tree skirt for all the gifts to sit on.

The festive scene was completed with huge red bows she hung from the banisters on the staircase.

She also shared a sweet video of her daughters making hot chocolate together.

Bruce and Emma's decorations were in stark contrast to his ex-wife Demi, who put up four trees instead of one at her place.

Demi shared a picture of all of her trees crammed into her living room and piled with decorations and lights.

She captioned the shot: "'Tis the season."

Bruce and Demi have remained friends as they raised their three daughters, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah, together after their split in 1998.

Their decision to isolate together during the pandemic fascinated fans.

It's believed Bruce got stuck at their former family home in Sun Valley, Idaho with their three daughters when the US lockdown came in.

He was unable to travel home to his wife in Los Angeles so Emma remained on the west coast caring for Mabel, eight, and Evelyn, five, before eventually flying out to join the gang in Sun Valley.

The family later returned to LA together.
