Bruce Springsteen teases more details about upcoming biopic

  • Bruce Springsteen has approved a new film titled Deliver Me from Nowhere, which he describes as an "anti-biopic" focusing on a specific period of his life.
  • The film, starring Jeremy Allen White as Springsteen, explores the time in his early thirties when he made his 1982 album "Nebraska".
  • Springsteen agreed to the film's production because it concentrates on a couple of years when he went through "some difficult places" rather than his entire career.
  • Directed by Scott Cooper, the film delves into themes of unresolved trauma, mental health, and the musician's relationship with his father, played by Stephen Graham.
  • Based on Warren Zanes’s novel, Deliver Me from Nowhere is set to be released in cinemas on 24 October, following screenings at the Telluride and New York Film Festivals.
