Bruce Gradkowski defends Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger for the mysterious fumble

Perhaps we finally have some closure on the fumble that really wasn’t. In case you didn’t know, former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Josh Harris decided to take to social media a few days back to accuse quarterback Ben Roethlisberger of intentionally fumbling the football in a game back in 2014.

He claimed this play was some sort of measuring stick of the person Roethlisberger is. His motives for bringing it up? Likely for attention but I digress. Harris continues to contend it wasn’t for attention as he puts out more and more posts and videos about it. Well, now another former teammate of Roethlisberger’s, his backup in 2014 Bruce Gradkowski has come out with a counter-argument that is less conspiracy theory.

In the video above you hear Gradkowski break down how the play should have gone and how it went wrong. At this point, it is really up to everyone to decide if this was a mistake made by a quarterback or a nefarious conspiracy created by a bitter former player.

But perhaps the most interesting this from the post Gradkowski made on Instagram was this response by Los Angeles Chargers center Mike Pouncey. He’s the brother of Steelers’ center Maurkice Pouncey.

Josh Harris is a clown bro! Glad you put this video out to show how much of a joke that guy is! The fact anyone even gave what he said any attention shows we live in a time where people will believe anything that is said without facts!

Pouncey makes the best point. We are all guilty of listening far too much to Harris and his allegations. Like an internet troll, all the responses and attention just gave him exactly what he wanted.
