Bruce Anderson leaves Aberdeen, but signs for Livingston as Accies miss out

Bruce Anderson has left Aberdeen to reach a pre-contract agreement with Livingston on a three-year deal.

The striker was on loan at Hamilton Accies last season and scored twice since joining in January.

Anderson was an instant hit at New Douglas Park, and scored his first goal for the club in a 4-1 win over Motherwell on February 14, and netted again in a 1-1 draw at St Mirren three days later, but hasn't found the net since.

Hamilton had hoped to keep hold of the striker if an agreement could be reached with Aberdeen, but their chances evaporated when relegation was confirmed on Sunday after seven seasons in the Premiership.

Anderson will instead join Livingston when his contract at Aberdeen ends in June, ending an 11-year spell at Pittodrie.
