Broxburn Athletic have confirmed their friendly on Saturday away to Highland League outfit Clachnacuddin has been postponed following a positive Covid-19 test within the squad.
The Brox had cancelled last night's friendly against near neighbours Pumpherston due to 'unforeseen circumstances' but the club have since confirmed a positive test.
A club statement on social media said: "We're following Scottish Government/SFA guidelines for the safety of our players, fans and opposing teams. We will update ASAP on future ties."
Stoneyburn have also been forced to cancel their clash with St Anthony's at the weekend while Armadale Thistle's visit to Spartans is also off.
However, Linlithgow Rose welcome Premiership side Hearts to Prestonfield on Saturday in the pick of the pre-season friendlies for our local sides.
The Rose, coming off a 1-0 loss to Pollok, will be welcoming fans back for the first time since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Brown Ferguson’s side then make the short trip to Volunteer Park to face Armadale Thistle on Tuesday night.
West Lothian’s lower league sides are beginning to ramp up their plans for the new campaign, which gets underway on July 17.
On Saturday, Blackburn United host Harthill Royal (2.30pm) while Fauldhouse United welcome neighbours Shotts Bon Accord to Park View (2pm). Bathgate Thistle and Whitburn are both at home as they face Lochgelly Albert and Rossvale respectively. West Calder United are away from home to Arniston Rangers while it’s a trip to face Stirling University for Livingston United.
