Broxburn Athletic boss Chris Townsley wary of Whitehill Welfare

Broxburn Athletic boss Chris Townsley has warned his players not to take Whitehill Welfare lightly with the two sides set to meet at Albyn Park tomorrow in an East of Scotland Premier Division clash.

The Brox go into the game on the back of three straight wins, but it's a different story for the visitors who are yet to pick up a point, suffering four defeats in four matches.

While Townsley is confident his side can emerge with a win, he's under no illusions that his players will have to perform to do so, saying: "Whitehill have had a difficult start to the season and we need to be wary of that. They're going to come out from the first whistle desperate to get something from the game.

"We go into the game confident because we've been playing well and scoring goals - and stopping them at the other end - but we've spoken to the players and they know they can't take it lightly if they want to win the game."

Elsewhere on Saturday, Linlithgow Rose are aiming to keep their unbeaten start to the season going as they travel to Musselburgh Athletic. Blackburn United, meanwhile, will be looking to get off the board when they visit a Sauchie side with just one point to their name.
