Browns top 3 WRs all out of action in Wednesday’s OTA session

The one day of Cleveland Browns OTAs open to the media this week was a little light on the wide receiver front.

Projected starters Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry, as well as No. 3 wideout Rashard Higgins, were all absent from working with the first-team offense during Wednesday’s voluntary session.

Landry emerged late from the locker room and did not participate in the practice session. He watched practice from the sidelines with the coaching staff. Higgins was suited up but worked with the injured players off to the side.

Beckham Jr. has apparently decided to wait another day to get in on the action despite earlier reports the wideout would participate in at least some of the OTAs this week.

Joining Higgins on the exercise bikes to the side were two other receivers competing for roster spots, Jaelen Strong and Ishmael Hyman.
