Browns TE Ricky Seals-Jones’ knee injury appears minor

Browns tight end Ricky Seals-Jones took a huge shot to the knee during the team’s loss to the Denver Broncos. Just before halftime, the big tight end caught a pass over the middle and took a helmet shot from Broncos DB Kareem Jackson directly to his knee.

Seals-Jones was tended to on the field in obvious pain. He walked off with some assistance but was quickly ruled out for the rest of the game. It looked as if the injury could be a serious one.

Fortunately, Seals-Jones appears to have escaped anything that will keep him sidelined. Darryl Ruiter of 92.3 The Fan noted he saw No. 83 walking in the team’s locker room without a brace on the knee or a visible limp.

The team won’t have an official injury update until Wednesday’s practice.
