Browns sign WR Cyril Grayson to practice squad, release Herb Miller

The Cleveland Browns have made another move to their practice squad. After swapping out one center for another on the practice squad yesterday, the Browns have now signed wide receiver Cyril Grayson to their reserve unit today. In order to make room for this move, the Browns have also released cornerback Herb Miller.

Grayson, listed at 5-foot-9 and 183 pounds, played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers all three seasons leading up to 2022. He is an undrafted free agent out of LSU via the 2017 NFL Draft but did not see action until 2019.

A year ago, Grayson caught ten passes for 212 yards and two touchdowns from Tom Brady. He has also returned two kicks in his career, providing limited special teams value as well.

At the end of the day, however, Grayson now brings 4.33 40 yard dash speed to the Cleveland practice squad.
