Browns sign QB Eric Dungey to the practice squad

The Browns have made a change to the practice squad, adding quarterback Eric Dungey to the 10-man taxi roster.

Dungey is an undrafted rookie from Syracuse who originally played with the New York Giants. He’s a dual-threat QB from his days with the Orange, where he ran for almost 2,000 yards as a longtime starter. Dungey was responsible for over 90 career TDs between his running and passing.

He figures to have some ability to emulate Seattle’s Russell Wilson in the final practice session for this week’s matchup with the Seahawks.

In the corresponding move, the Browns placed wide receiver Derrick Willies on the practice squad injured reserve. He has a knee injury.
