A day after working him out on a visit, the Cleveland Browns have signed offensive guard Malcolm Pridgeon to the team’s practice squad.
Pridgeon should be a familiar name for Browns fans who also call themselves Ohio State Buckeye faithful. The new guard started for the Buckeyes OL for two seasons after transferring in as a JUCO. He’s a massive presence at 6-6 and a listed 331 pounds.
Pridgeon spent most of the offseason with the Houston Texans, where he signed as an undrafted free agent.
The Browns had an opening on the practice squad, so no corresponding roster move was needed to add the former Buckeye.
