Browns sign free agent WR Ishmael Hyman

John Dorsey just couldn’t wait to add another player to the Cleveland Browns. The team announced it has signed free agent wide receiver Ishmael Hyman in the hours before the 2019 NFL Draft kicks off.

Hyman is a success story from the local tryout and workout held in Cleveland recently. The 6-0 wideout competed in that after the AAF folded. Hyman was a member of the Orlando Apollos, where he caught passes from recently signed backup QB Garrett Gilbert.

Originally out of James Madison, Hyman went undrafted in last year’s selection process. He was a starter for the Dukes when they won the FCS National Championship back in 2016.
