Browns set to interview former Cowboys, Chargers OC Kellen Moore

Adding Kellen Moore to the list of candidates for their vacant offensive coordinator role, the Cleveland Browns are building quite an extensive list of candidates.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero was the first to report the request made by Cleveland.

Spending last season with the Los Angeles Chargers, Moore also spent four years as the offensive coordinator of the Dallas Cowboys. Coaching quarterbacks Dak Prescott and Justin Herbert throughout his career as an offensive coordinator, there would be respect there as the Browns look to get the most out of Deshaun Watson in 2024.

After hiring Jim Harbaugh as their new head coach, the Chargers are letting their coaches who are under contract pursue other jobs. Does Moore fit the bill of what the Browns will be looking for as they look to revamp what was a stale offense for most of the season?

The Browns are now up to five candidates, as Moore joins Jerrod Johnson, Andy Dickerson, Brian Johnson, and Ken Dorsey as those who have interviewed for the vacancy.
