Browns select OL Drew Forbes from Southeast Missouri State in the 6th round

The Cleveland Browns selected Southeast Missouri State OL Drew Forbes with their 6th Round Selection, 189th overall.

Forbes started 35 games at left tackle in college, where he was a team captain in his final two seasons with the team. He also was a Second Team All-American and First team All-Ohio Valley Conference.

The Athletic’s Dane Brugler is a big fan of Forbes, calling him “one of my favorite small school players.” Brugler noted his active hands with good power to them, as well as his nasty streak who is always looking for his next victim.” Forbes also has “all of the mental and physical ingredients to develop into a quality NFL guard.” New OL Coach James Campen has a fresh new guard to develop on the line.
