Browns S Ronnie Harrison doesn’t need surgery and could return later this year

The Cleveland Browns got some uplifting news on the injury front. Starting safety Ronnie Harrison does not need surgery on his injured shoulder and could return in time for the postseason.

Coach Kevin Stefanski shared the prognosis on Harrison. While Stefanski wasn’t specific in the exact time frame, several outlets have reported it’s a four-to-six week outlook for Harrison to return.

“I’m hopeful that he can make it back,’’ Stefanski said in his Wednesday press briefing. “It’s multiple weeks but I don’t have the time-frame specific right in front of me.’’

Harrison was injured while making a tackle on the first play from scrimmage against his old team in Jacksonville.
