Browns rookies take a field trip to the Pro Football Hall of Fame

As part of their indoctrination into the NFL, the Cleveland Browns rookie class got an inspirational treat. The team took the wide-eyed rookies down I-77 to Canton to visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

It’s an aspirational exercise for the rookies, a chance to see firsthand what true greatness looks like. For many of the players, it’s an opportunity to connect with their childhood heroes. Andrew Gribble of the Browns own website nicely spotlighted linebacker Mack Wilson and his relationship with Ray Lewis. Wilson even texted Lewis himself a picture of him with the Ravens’ great’s own bust in the hallowed hall.

The Browns and the rookies are off until training camp kicks off in late July.
